Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of bound8 ("bound8", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use bound8.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use bound8 — we verify this with a birthdate at sign-up and do not permit accounts for anyone younger (see "Children" in our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. Space administrators are responsible for the members and roles they manage.

Acceptable use

• Don't use bound8 for anything unlawful or harmful.
• Don't attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Don't upload content you don't have the right to share.
• Don't post, message, or share anything abusive, harassing, or otherwise objectionable — including toward other members of your own Space.
• Respect the other members of your Space.

Violating this section may result in the content being removed, and — for repeated or serious violations — suspension or termination of your account.

Reporting & blocking

If someone in your Space sends you a direct message, post, or comment that violates the section above, you can report it — from the message, post, or comment itself, or from that member's profile — so your Space's administrator can review it. You can also block another member at any time; once blocked, you won't see their posts or comments, and direct messages between you will stop going through. If the person you're reporting is themselves an administrator, your report goes directly to us instead, so you're never left with no one to report to. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create in bound8. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, display, and process that content so we can provide the service to you and your Space — including sending requests to AI and calendar providers when you use those features. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Third-party services

Features such as calendar sync, the AI assistant, and subscription billing rely on third-party providers (for example, Google, Apple, Stripe, Superwall, and — if enabled — Anthropic). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on the web and Apple In-App Purchase on iOS. New subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial; a card is required upfront, and you will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends. Founding members keep this price for as long as they stay subscribed. Manage or cancel an iOS subscription in your Apple ID settings, or a web subscription from bound8 Settings.

Service availability

bound8 is provided "as is" and "as available." We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, bound8 is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using bound8 at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated. To delete your account while signed in:

• Mobile: Settings → Privacy and security → Delete Account
• Web: Settings → Danger zone → Delete Account

Deleting your account removes your personal data. Content you created that stays in a shared Space is attributed to "Former member" so other members keep their shared history. If you cannot sign in, email support@bound8.com and we will help you delete the account.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
